NEET UG 2026 Not Required for IPU BPT & BOT Admission 2026: GGSIPU Releases Urgent Notice

IPU BPT & BOT Admission 2026 New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has officially announced that NEET UG 2026 will no longer be mandatory for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) courses for academic session 2026–27.

As per the latest notification university has withdrawn admissions through NEET 2026 and will now conduct its own Common Entrance Test (IPU CET 2026) for Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT).

This decision comes after directions issued by National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

NEET UG 2026 Not Required for BPT & BOT Admission

According to the official notification requirement of appearing in NEET UG 2026 for BPT and BOT admissions has been cancelled till academic session 2027–28.

  • Students do not need NEET UG 2026 for BPT and BOT admission in IPU
  • The earlier admission process mentioned in IPU UG brochure 2026-27 stands cancelled
  • NEET based admissions for these courses will not be conducted this year
